Balyn is a highly competitive hybrid defender from Norwood in the SANFL. Originally from a farming community at Waramboo on South Australia’s West Coast, prior to boarding at Rostrevor College. He was added to Port Adelaide’s AFL list during the SSP period prior to the start of the 2026 AFL season. This was on the back of having an excellent season in 2025 with both the SA U18 team, and Norwood, impressing all with his performances for Norwood in the SANFL League finals series.
