Caelan Maladay is a fast bowling all-rounder who received his first professional contract with Tasmania for the 2026/27 season. Originally from northern NSW, Caelan played U19s for the NSW country side, before moving to Hobart and knocking the door down at State second XI and Premier cricket levels over a number of years with consistent performances. He is also considered one of the best fieldsmen in Australia.
