A powerful mid forward from Western Australia, Abbey Dowrick announced herself to the AFLW competition in 2022. Playing her first season as a 19 year old, Abbey came third in the Port Adelaide FC Best and Fairest, whilst also being runner up in the AFLW Rookie of the year.
Abbey went one better in 2023 by winning the Port Adelaide Best and fairest, and being a member of the All-Australian Squad. She has signed on with the Power to the end of 2026, and uses and endorses Asics footwear.
