Maria Maloney is the ultimate professional. The fittest and one of the strongest on the Port Adelaide AFLW list, Maria is capable of playing multiple positions, particularly specialising in playing in the midfield and as a small defender. Initially playing in Brisbane’s strong teams of 2020, 2021, and 2022, she moved to Adelaide to join the Port Adelaide expansion team from 2023. She is much loved as a teammate, always putting the team first. Off field Maria has a successful career in the air force.
