Originally hailing from Clare in South Australia, Ellie is a fast bowler and more than handy batter. Ellie was holding her own amongst adults playing in the senior Stanley Cricket Assoc league at 13 year of age. She has gone on to play for the Australian U18 team, and is a regular with the South Australian Scorpions.
Ellie has been a member of the Adelaide Strikers WBBL Squad since she was 18, but is now on a new Big Bash journey with the Melbourne Renegades. Ellie had a breakout season in the WNCL in 2021/22, taking the second most wickets in the competition, as well as hitting the most sixes.
